Friends of the Overlook House

Need a memorable site for a special occasion, a wedding ceremony and reception, a quiet space for a business retreat, a gathering place for a neighborhood meeting? The Historic Overlook House is just the place. A handsome brick and stucco Tudor residence built in 1927; the house sits on more than an acre of beautifully landscaped grounds with views of the Willamette River and Portland's West Hills. Inside, the charm of the original woodwork, beveled glass, tile fireplace, plentiful windows and access to a patio overlooking the grounds offer an intimate environment. Mature trees and lovely perennials frame the garden.

The Friends of the Overlook House protects, promotes and administers the historical Overlook House as a community center for the benefit of the neighborhood. The Friends of the Overlook House sponsors cultural, educational and social activities and provide space to honor life's milestones.Stewardship of the Overlook House is provided by the Volunteers ofใ€€Friends of the Overlook House, a 501c3 non-profit organization.
